Nadiya Hussain deletes THAT spit roast tweet after being mocked on Twitter
The former Bake Off winner got more than she bargained for when she asked fans for cooking advice on Sunday
BAKE Off favourite Nadiya Hussain has deleted her tweet about spit roasting after being mocked by fans for the X-rated innuendo.
The baking queen, 33, was innocently looking for helpful advice about the rotisserie cooking method on Sunday afternoon, but instead left some of her dirty-minded followers in stitches over the unintended double entendre.
She wrote: "Has anyone spit roasted before ? If so any tips? Any recommendations? Need to get summer ready for a special party #BBQ #summer2018."
Naively unaware that spit roasting is also the name of a sexual position, Nadiya got more than she bargained for when fans took the opportunity to reply with hilarious gifs, memes and naughty responses.
One fan replied: "Hi Nadiya, sounds like a really great event. I’d just say keep going even if it feels unfamiliar, don’t be tempted to stop too early. Everyone will really enjoy your hard work in the end. Enjoy the tasty meat!"
Another joked: "Summer is a great time to invite friends over for a few drinks and to spit roast a couple of juicy birds."
While a third wrote: "I try not to make that an outdoor thing. The neighbours will only complain again..."
Nadiya was crowned the sixth winner of Bake Off in 2015.
During her acceptance speech, she said: "I'm never gonna put boundaries on myself ever again. I'm never gonna say I can't do it.
"I'm never gonna say 'maybe'. I'm never gonna say, 'I don't think I can.' I can and I will."

She has been rushed off her feet since winning the show, releasing several cookbooks and even baking a cake for the 90th birthday celebrations of Queen Elizabeth II.
She regularly appears on The One Show on BBC One and had her own cookery show, The Chronicles of Nadiya.
The dough wizard appeared on her own BBC Two series called Nadiya's British Food Adventure, in conjunction with her book of the same name.
