AFTER Phil Mitchell’s mystery phone call at the end of tonight’s EastEnders, fans are convinced they know who he rang – and he’s scary, Irish and very violent.
If you hadn’t of already guessed, the bloke they’ve got their sights set on is evil Aidan Maguire.
Earlier this year, Aidan left Albert Square after Phil stitched him up – ending their friendship forever.
Now Vincent Hubbard is sniffing around, the Walford hardman appears to have become suspicious and is calling in his pals for help.
As you know, Vincent is hell bent on framing Phil for Luke Browning’s murder.
But as he tries to work out a plan, Phil appears to be almost one step ahead.
After seeing Vincent meeting up with DI Franklin, Phil heads to his car and picks up the phone.
He told the mystery caller: “It's me, listen - don't hang up alright?
“I know I'm the last person you want to hear from but we've got a problem.”
Viewers were convinced it was Aidan, given how Phil turned him over when he was forced out of Walford.
One tweeted: “Guessing Phil called Aidan to tell him about Vincent.”
A second told their fans: “Vincent Vincent you have sealed your fate now and will be sent to purgatory for playing with the deadliest fire! Phil has called Aidan so Vincent better be prepared for a Jigsaw style death!”
Another commented: “Of course Phil's probably still working with Aidan. Gotta keep the crime rate going his way rather than any other way in London eh?”
Vincent has been trying to frame Phil after the police offered him a way out.
After finding Luke’s body in the canal, the police told Vincent: “Get proof it was Mitchell who did this. You're a smart guy Vincent. I'm sure you'll find a way.
“We can give your family protection, just like you wanted.
“Find a connection and it will be worth your while.”
Fans of the show will have a tense wait to find out if Phil does find out about Vincent’s plan.
And if he does, and Aidan is involved, could this be the end of the road for Vincent, just as Richard Blackwood, who plays the character, teased last month?
