Towie’s Courtney Green and Myles Barnett SPLIT after ‘series of relationship problems’
The reality TV couple had been dating for just over a year, but have decided to go their separate ways
TOWIE stars Courtney Green and Myles Barnett have split up after more than a year of dating.
The couple – who have been plagued by a series of rows on the ITVBe show - have decided to call it a day due to unresolvable issues.
An insider told The Sun Online: “Everyone saw them have a huge row on Towie this month over Courtney’s ‘flirting’, but the couple were on the rocks well before that.
“The on-screen row wasn’t actually the only cause of the split, there were loads of problems in the relationship way before all this happened.”
They continued: “Fans of the pair will remember they had issues long before Myles’ recent outburst, so the split doesn’t really come as that much of a shock to those who know them.”
Courtney and Myles first started dating in 2016 before they began on Towie.
The 22-year-old decided to ask Myles out officially when they started on the show in 2017 – by presenting him with a Teddy Bear with the words ‘Be Mine’ on it over dinner.
It wasn’t long until cracks started to show though and Myles branded Courtney a “psycho” over the way she was acting.
They had a brief split in 2017 when Courtney admitted she had been texting her ex-boyfriend.
After two weeks of no contact at all, they reconciled and seemed to be back on track, even talking about moving in together.
Earlier this month things turned very sour again though after Jordan accused Courtney of flirting with Towie newbie Jordan Wright.
He shocked viewers when he called her a "dirty dog" and a "slag" in an ugly street brawl before demanding to have space.
