The distressing clip was filmed yesterday evening in Central London

THIS is the moment a London rickshaw driver appears to be confronted by tourists after allegedly charging £150 for a nine-minute ride.

Distressing footage filmed in Knightsbridge yesterday evening shows a scuffle breaking out after claims that a man charged the extortionate moment for a one-and-a-half mile journey.

The video begins with a showing a rickshaw driver outside Sheraton Park Tower Hotel counting cash in his hand, saying: "It's all good."

But when the man realises he's being filmed, he starts pointing and shouting at the person holding the camera, as a person off-screen accuses him of charging £150 for a ride.

According to MailOnline, it is claimed two children were being threatened by the driver when they refused to hand over £150 for the journey from Selfridges on Oxford Street at 7pm.
The passer-by who took the video reportedly said: "I felt really sorry for them as the guy was threatening them to make the payment of £150.

"I was filming him and he started to snatch my mobile phone, I was very upset."

The film captures a brief struggle, thought to be between the two men, where the rickshaw driver shouts: "Don't touch me! Don't touch me!"

"Listen to me, who are you!"

The driver then threatens to call the police as a swearing match begins.

"F*** off. Who are you? Go f*** yourself."

Bystanders are then heard in the background telling people to "'call the police".

According to MailOnline, the two unidentified tourists eventually handed over £25 to the rickshaw driver, who is dressed in a beanie, jeans and a hoodie.

In 2015 another London rickshaw driver attempted to charge a tourist £600 for a 30 minute journey after he claims they had "done a deal".
