What will Prince Harry wear to his wedding, will he have a wedding ring and could he wear uniform?
Thousands are desperate to see what dress Meghan will pick for her big day, but what will Prince Harry wear?
ALL eyes are on Meghan Markle and the dress she will wear for her wedding to Prince Harry.
But what will her fiancé wear for the big day, and will be don a uniform?
What will Prince Harry wear to his wedding?
When Prince William tied the knot with Kate Middleton in 2011, he wore a striking red Irish Guards Mounted Officer’s uniform.
It is expected that Prince Harry will follow suit and wear military attire on May 19.
Prince Harry’s most senior military appointment is as Captain General of the Royal Marines, which he took over from the Duke of Edinburgh.
The Queen, who is the head of the Armed Forces, will make the final decision in what he wears.
Unlike Prince William, Harry will not wear a blue sash across his uniform as he is not yet a member of the Order of the Garter.
He may, however, wear his Army Air Corps wings above his Golden and Diamond Jubilee medals, and his Afghanistan Campaign medal.
Will Prince Harry have a wedding ring?
It is thought that Prince Harry will wear a wedding band after his wedding, unlike his older brother.
Prince William typically doesn’t wear a ring, and this, according to a royal aide, is down to personal preference.
Most of the royal family, apart from the Duke of Edinburgh, wear rings.
Prince Charles, for example, has a gold wedding ring under a signet ring on the little finger of his left hand which was a gift from the Duchess of Cornwall.

What is the dress code for the royal wedding?
The dress code on the royal invitation requests a “morning suit or lounge suit” for men, and a “day dress with hat” for women.
While it definitely doesn’t have anything to do with lounging in the way we might think, a lounge suit is relatively fuss free, and is simply a suit worn with a shirt and tie.
It is typically worn for business, and many daytime and evening social events such as christenings, funerals, and Ascot – so many guests probably have one in their wardrobe already.
A morning suit is slightly more formal, and traditional for men to wear at weddings, official functions, and formals events in the presence of the Queen.
