WITH the royal wedding less than two months away, all eyes will be on what wedding dress Meghan Markle will choose.
And according to a royal expert, Meghan’s gown will cost a lot less than Kate Middleton’s wedding dress, and there is a reason for this.
Royal expert Kate Nicholl revealed that Meghan will go for a dress with a far more modest price tag than Kate’s.
The Duchess of Cambridge wore a stunning, Sarah Burton for Alexander McQueen gown with long lace sleeves when she tied the knot with Prince William in 2011.
Kate explained to Entertainment Tonight: “There have been reports that [Meghan’s] considering spending hundreds of thousands of pounds on a wedding dress. I think that’s incredibly unlikely.
“Kate Middleton's dress is rumoured to have cost £250,000. It was her parents, Carole and Michael Middleton, who paid for that bill.
“I think it is very unlikely that Meghan would spend more than that and in doing so try and upstage a future queen.
"I don’t think she's going to want to get royal life off to a start where she's criticised for spending something like £400,000 on a wedding dress.”
Royal fans have been speculating that Meghan Markle has been dropping some MASSIVE hints that Victoria Beckham is going to design her wedding dress.
So much so that bookies have slashed the odds on Victoria being chosen and she is now one of the frontrunners.
Bookies had previously suspended betting on the wedding dress, with Ralph & Russo being the leading favourite.
But with the Suits actress, 36, stepping out in Belfast on the recent royal engagement with Prince Harry wearing a cream jumper designed by Victoria, the Spice Girl's current odds have been slashed.
Victoria's odds were originally at 16/1 to be the chosen designer, but now her Labrokes odds are at 4/1.

This puts her in the top three, behind Erdem 3/1 and Ralph & Russo 1/3.
On Friday, Meghan wowed in a stunning green skirt and Victoria Beckham jumper as the couple touched down in Northern Ireland - just one day after their royal wedding invitations were sent out.
There has previously been speculation that Victoria Beckham would design Meghan's gown - as it has been reported that the pair have been bonding over fashion and A-list beauty rituals.
