Just weeks ago we were discussing the possibility of Harry Kane breaking an astonishing fantasy football record.
Cristiano Ronaldo’s truly ridiculous 477 Dream Team points in the 2007/08 season has still never been beaten – or indeed even remotely rivalled.

But Kane’s hot streak over Christmas and the new year meant surpassing it became a distinct possibility.
That now looks out of the question.
Kane’s flimsy ankle ligaments means he’s likely to miss another month of action, instead handing the initiative to his main rival to finish the season as Dream Team top points scorer.
And Mo Salah has grasped the opportunity with both hands.
Liverpool’s Egyptian King was a sizeable 36 points adrift of Kane at the top of the standings until Watford came to Anfield on Saturday.
But four goals, an assist and a sensational 35 points later and there’s now just a solitary point between the two deadly marksmen.
Salah’s virtuoso display was also the single biggest points haul by one player in one game so far this season, beating Sergio Aguero’s 33 against Leicester in February.
It means Salah, with 334 points, has already equalled Robin van Persie’s total from the entire 2011/12 season and is just 14 points adrift of last season’s winner Alexis Sanchez.
Not bad.
Can Salah overtake Kane and wrap up a Premier League Golden Boot x Dream Team top points scorer double?
Because that’s the double ALL players yearn for at the start of every season, right?
Well much of it depends on the cup competitions, with Liverpool still in the Champions League but Spurs gunning for the FA Cup.
Either way it’s been a magnificent battle so far and Kane’s return can’t come soon enough.
